Userful's Multi-Station software allows for one computer to be used by up to 10
people simultaneously and independently. This creates a huge decrease in hardware cost per user.
Initializing a Keyboard
Initializing a keyboard is as simple as plugging it into the nearest usb jack or hub. To match
to a given monitor to a keyboard simply press the relevant function key for that node. So if
the monitor is set up as node 4 then you would press the F4 key in order to match the keyboard
in front of that monitor to that Node.
Initializing a Mouse
Initializing a mouse is even easier than initializing a keyboard. If the mouse is plugged into
a USB hub on the keyboard you wish to match it to then nothing need be done because it will be
detected and matched at the time the keyboard is detected. If the mouse is plugged into a
separate USB jack then you will be asked to identify which Node the mouse belongs to by simply
pressing a mouse button.
Success!
The monitor has been matched to a keyboard and mouse and is ready to be worked on.
Once the keyboard and mouse have been matched to a monitor then the software
goes to work setting up the Desktop for use.
