is not currently supported, please follow the steps below.
Desktop Multiplier
Userful's Desktop Multiplier software brings multi-station computing
to a variety of X environments operating in almost any written language supported
by X. Although Desktop Multiplier works regardless of the language in use,
the Desktop Multiplier configuration interface is currently only available in
a limited number of languages. These include English, Spanish, and, Brazilian Portuguese.

DiscoverStation
Userful's DiscoverStation public computing platform combines Desktop Multiplier
with a public computing management layer.
Although DiscoverStation creates and displays documents in almost any language,
GUI components such as the Welcome Screen, Start Here menu items, and clickable
icons on the desktop are currently only available in
a limited number of languages other than English. These include
a full translation to Spanish and
limited translations to Simplified Chinese, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese and Korean.

Device Assignment Tool
Userful's device assignment tool allows multiple USB devices such as
headsets, disk drives and card readers to be assigned to each station.
All Userful multi-user computing products, including Desktop Multiplier,
Desktop Server, and DiscoverStation use the Device Assignment Tool.
While the Userful's Device Assignment Tool and software will work with
USB devices using any language, the user interface is only currently
available in English and Spanish, with a limited translation
available in Simplified Chinese.

Common Translation instructions
Note: Adding these file to an existing Desktop Multiplier or
DiscoverStation installation will not cause the installation to become translated.
Once you have downloaded the translation file,
- Open the translation template file in a plain text editor such as Windows Notepad, gedit on X, or emacs or vi.
- Replace translation placeholders with text of actual translations. Detailed instructions are included in the
Desktop Multiplier and DiscoverStation translation template files.
- Save the translation template file as plain text and send the translated file as an attachment to
support at userful dot com
- Userful will validate and test the translation, incorporate it into our products,
and notify you when it is ready. Translated products should become available
within two weeks of receiving translation files.
Resellers and end-users who submit new translations may be eligible to receive
complimentary licenses or discounts for Userful products. Contact your Userful representative
for details.
